Natural clothing refers to those fabrics and fibres which are derived from ecofriendly resources, like fiber crops or recycled materials. The way of construction of fabric also makes this sustainable. In recent times, the meaning of being ‘green’, is reducing the amount of clothing that are discarded and decreasing the environmental impact of chemicals used in processing of fibres.
The main principles behind sustainability are Economics, Ecology, and Social Equity. These three are called jointly- Three Legs of Sustainability. The goal of which is to create a system which can be supported indefinitely in terms of human impact on the environment and social responsibility.
In organic clothing, dyes which are natural used. These dyes are those colourants which are originated and derived from plant sources like roots, berries, flowers, bark, leaves and wood and other organic sources such as fungi and lichens.
